I have the rare privilege of knowing Mr. N. Ilango. He is the founder and Managing Director of Ace Panacea softskills pvt ltd, a company with 300 trainers, providing training in soft skills and spoken english. He is a play-back voice-over artist and voices of some of the most popular advertisements like Raymond the complete man and the Prince jewellary belongs to him. On mean an achievement for a man of 35 years of age. But what amazes me is the fact that Mr. N. Ilango is a visually challenged from birth. He achieved all these despite the natural disadvantage. He had not allowed his disability to limit his progress towards realization of his potentials. Instead he had converted the disadvantage into advantages, scars into stars. I admire him. Mr. N. Ilango is an inspirational personality in front of hundreds of college students when he addresses them. A founder of a company, a voice-over artist, a singer, a teacher and a social worker all combined into one person has enough reasons to leave a lasting influence on the young minds. Even I was inspired by him, and I look forward to associate with him in his motivational programmes. It is not merely the varied talents of this visually challenged hero that stands out, but it is the confidence that he exudes in the midst of other people. His carefully selected words, his authority in expression and his fine sense of humour endears him to everyone, and makes him a natural leader of men. All of his service, i like his passion for English teaching more, which if made full use of by India’s youth, would benefit them in large measure in their pursuit of job in the highly competitive job market. His service in English language teaching is going to be our country/s greatest gain through him. While completely awe inspired by the incredible achievements of this inspirational man, I thank him for his service he is doing particularly to the young men and women of this country. I wish him well.

I have great pleasure in giving this testimonial for Mr. Ilango, a former student of Department of English in the M.Phil. Course.He has kept in touch with the Department since then. In fact, when a guest-lectureship came up in my Department for 2003 to 2004 for teaching communication for the students opting the subject a supportive course under choice based credit system I nominated him to the university for this purpose.
